What exactly is the San Juan Business Index?

We believe in the power of local connection and that’s why we created the San Juan Business Index. For us, it’s personal. Behind every jersey is a screen printer. Behind every post-game meal is a local restaurant. Behind every tournament is a small business lending its support.

These moments, and the people who make them possible, are closer to home than you think.

The Business Index is our way of shining a light on them. It’s a resource built to connect San Juan families with the businesses that fuel our community, to celebrate the people who give back, and to strengthen the bonds that make us who we are Our mission is simple: connect members, support local businesses, and build a stronger community together.

How do I become a part of the San Juan Business Index?

The San Juan Business Index isn’t open to everyone and that’s intentional. Twice a year, we extend exclusive invitations to our members who own or operate businesses, offering them the opportunity to be featured.

This invite-only approach ensures that the Index remains personal, curated, and authentic. Every business represented has a direct tie to our San Juan families: whether it’s a parent, alumni, or longtime supporter. That connection is what makes the Index unique.

By limiting enrollment to two cycles per year, we give each business the attention it deserves. New members are highlighted, promoted, and woven into the community fabric with care. This cadence also allows us to keep the Index fresh, ensuring families always discover new partners to support, while giving businesses meaningful visibility at the right moments of the season.

What are the qualifications to become a part of the San Juan Business Index?

Before filling out the San Juan Business Index Form, please take a moment to review the qualifications. The Business Index is a curated space designed to highlight the businesses that are part of the San Juan family and strengthen the connections within our community.

To be eligible for inclusion, you must:

Be a current San Juan Soccer Club member, or
Be the parent/guardian of a current player in the club.

Our focus is on shining a light on the people and businesses that directly support the day-to-day lives of our players and families. This includes:

Family-owned businesses and local entrepreneurs, whose work reflects the spirit of our community.
Small business owners providing services, products, or resources that families in our club can support.
Representatives of larger corporations, provided your work connects locally — such as managing sales, marketing, or community outreach in Northern California.

By keeping these qualifications in place, we ensure that the Index remains authentic, meaningful, and beneficial for everyone involved. We want to create a trusted resource where families know they’re supporting one another, whether that’s buying a product, hiring a service, or simply spreading the word about a business rooted in San Juan ties.
