WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- Tiemann Law Firm Fields at SJ Soccer Complex.
- Hosted from November 24th through November 25th, 2025.
- 3 games guaranteed per day, 2 x 20-minute halves per game.
- There will be no teams of age groups playing up.
- U8 (2018), U9-10 (2017-2016), U11-12 (2015-2014), U13-14 (2013-2012).
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:
The current deadline for The Off The Line 7v7 Turkey Bowl, Powered by San Juan Soccer Club, is November 21, 2025. Please note that if for some reason you miss this deadline, you’ll have to contact Off The Line, or our Youth Director for more information.
Tournament Fees:
- All Teams: $450
Withdrawal Penalty:
- Please be advised that, due to the nature of event planning and resource allocation, the Off The Line 7v7 Turkey Bowl, powered by San Juan Soccer Club, maintains a no-refund policy for teams that withdraw after registration.
- By registering, teams agree to forfeit any refund entitlement should they choose or be required to withdraw from the tournament. This policy ensures that our commitment to fair scheduling, venue preparation, and resource management remains in place to provide the best experience for all participants.

Competition Overview:
- The Off The Line 7v7 Turkey Bowl, Powered by San Juan Soccer Club format guarantees that teams are able to have played at least 4 games over the course of the 2-day 7V7 tournament.
- In the event of a tie at the end of regulation time, a penalty kick (PK) shootout will decide the winner. The initial round is best out of three, and if still tied, alternating PKs will continue until a winner emerges.
- Each match consists of two 20-minute halves, providing players with an exciting and fast-paced game environment.
- Teams may have up to 12 players, allowing for ample rotation and balanced team dynamics.
Competition Schedule:
- Games are scheduled across four time slots: 4-5 PM, 5-6 PM, 6-7 PM, 7-8 PM, and 8-9 PM.
- No dogs are allowed at the complex. If for some reason you have a service dog that needs to be present, please contact the designated club contact for more information.
- No gum or sunflower seeds allowed are at allowed at the complex due to excess waste.
- No alcohol, tobacco or forearms are allowed at the complex.
- Please drive slow in the parking lot and stay vigilant.
- Do not drop off players or family members along the Blue Field’s curb.
- No propane or space heaters are allowed on the turf out of safety concerns.
- Do not stake anything in the turf under any circumstance.
- Parents must remain in designated areas at all times and will be escorted off the premises if a violation occurs.
- Parents need to watch their kids that are not playing so that they are aware of their location at all times.
Turkey Bowl Registration Instructions
To sign up for a San Juan / OTL Turkey Bowl event, you must register as a coach or manager for this specific event in GotSoccer. If your team doesn’t exist in the system, you will be prompted to create it during registration.
- Step 1: Find the event’s registration link
- Step 2: Log in or create your GotSoccer account
- Click the registration link to log in. If you already have a GotSoccer account, log in with your credentials.
- If not, you will need to create a new coach or manager account; this is a personal account, not a team account.
- Step 3: Create your unaffiliated team
- If you don’t see your team listed under “My Teams” after logging in, use the Search a Team feature.
- Search for your Turkey Bowl team name.
If no matches are found, the system will prompt you to create a new team. - Provide the required information such as:
- Full team name
- Gender
- Age group
- For the club, select Independent or Non-Affiliated, which may appear differently depending on your regional association (e.g., “Independent Teams-NTX”).
- Make sure your personal role (coach or manager) is correct and save the new team.
- Step 4: Complete the event registration forms
- After creating your team, follow the prompts to finish registration:
- Update Profile: Fill out your personal information.
- Team Information: Enter required details for your new team.
- Registration Form: Answer event-specific questions.
- Step 5: Add officials and players to the roster
- Team officials: Use the Roster Review tab to add assistant coaches or other staff. You’ll need to search for them by name and email.
- Players: Add players by entering first name, last name, and date of birth.
If the event’s governing body does not use GotSoccer, you must enter each player manually.
- Step 6: Checkout and pay
- Select the correct event fee.
- Agree to the terms and complete checkout to pay the registration fee.
- Your team’s application will then be sent to event organizers for review.
You are not officially registered until your team is accepted.

THE THANKSGIVING CUP
The San Juan Thanksgiving Cup is where the West Coast comes to play. Featuring over 150 teams from across the region, this end-of-November showdown brings together the best boys’ and girls’ sides (from across the U8 through U15 age groups) for a weekend of elite competition.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

- Hosted on November 29th and 30th, 2025.
- Available for teams in the U8 to U15 groups.
- 2 games on Saturday, 1-2 games on Sunday.
- Champions receive: trophy and t-shirts.

- Thanksgiving Cup withdrawal penalty is $100.00, if before the Application/Sign-up Deadline.

The New Year’s Cup is one of San Juan Soccer Club’s newest tournaments, designed to give teams high-level, supplemental competition ahead of their spring season. Taking place at the start of the year, it’s the perfect opportunity for players and coaches to sharpen their game, build momentum, and step into the season with confidence.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

- Hosted from January 10th through January 11th, 2026.
- Available for teams in the U8 to U14 groups.
- Teams guaranteed 3 games at minimum.
- Champions receive: trophy and medals.

THE PRESIDENT'S CUP
The President’s Day Cup is one of San Juan Soccer Club’s longest-standing tournaments, recognized for delivering competitive matchups year after year. Taking place during the mid-season break, it provides teams with valuable competition and an opportunity to test themselves against quality opponents before heading into the heart of spring play.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

- February 14th through February 16th, 2026.
- Available for the U8-U14 age groups.
- U8-U14 play on Saturday and Sunday.
- U11-U14 Finals are played on Monday.

The Sophia Torres Memorial Cup stands as a deeply meaningful and historic moment for San Juan Soccer Club, serving as the inaugural tournament created in loving memory of our #19, Sophia Torres. This first-of-its-kind event is a tribute to her life, her spirit, and the profound impact she continues to have on her family, friends, and the Northern California soccer community.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- Tiemann Law Firm Fields at SJ Soccer Complex.
- Hosted from April 25th through April 26th, 2026.
- Available for teams in the U8 to U12 groups.
- Teams will be from the 7v7 and 9v9 age groups.
- Teams guaranteed 3 games at minimum.
- Champions receive: trophy, medals, and t-shirts.
- Select player receives special scholarship presentation.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:
The current registration deadline for the Sophia Torres Memorial Cup is April 11, 2026.
We encourage all teams to complete their registration before this date to ensure participation in this meaningful event honoring Sophia’s legacy and the competitive spirit she continues to inspire throughout our community.

The Sophia Torres Memorial Cup is built on competition, community, and purpose. Each team’s participation not only secures a place in the tournament, but also contributes directly to the ongoing impact of the ST19 Foundation.
Registration Fees:
- 7v7 Age Divisions:
- U8, U9, U10 (2016, 2017, 2018 birth year teams) – $625.00 per team
- 9v9 Age Divisions:
- U11, U12 (2014, 2015 birth year teams) – $725.00 per team
The proceeds from every team’s registration fee will be donated directly to the ST19 Foundation Scholarship Fund. This fund was established to honor Sophia’s legacy by supporting players within our community, ensuring her impact continues far beyond a single weekend of competition. Therefore, we view registration not simply as an entry fee, but as a contribution toward something lasting that creates future opportunities for players in the game.
Late Registration:
Teams that register after the published deadline of April 11, 2026 may be accepted on a space-available basis only. If approved, a $75.00 late registration fee will be applied in addition to the standard team fee. Acceptance after the deadline is not guaranteed and will depend on division availability and scheduling considerations.
Withdrawal Policy: We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. However, once a team registers, scheduling, staffing, and field allocations begin immediately. For that reason, the following withdrawal policies are in place:
- $100.00 withdrawal penalty if a team withdraws prior to the April 11, 2026 registration deadline.
- Full registration fee forfeited if a team withdraws after the April 11, 2026 deadline or after formal tournament acceptance.
These policies allow us to preserve the competitive integrity of the event and ensure fairness for all participating clubs. Teams requesting to withdraw after acceptance must notify the Tournament Director directly at tournaments@sanjuansoccer.org. All communication regarding withdrawals must be submitted in writing.
Guaranteed Games:
All teams are guaranteed a minimum of three (3) games during the tournament. Our scheduling structure is intentionally built to maximize quality matchups while ensuring every team competes in multiple meaningful contests. Teams that win their respective brackets advance to a Championship Game, which offers a fourth match; providing players an additional high-stakes competitive experience.
Bracket Advancement & Tiebreakers:
In the event of tied standings within a bracket, tournament tiebreaker procedures will apply. In certain scenarios, goal differential may be used to determine which team advances. Our goal is to maintain fairness while ensuring brackets are decided clearly and transparently, consistent with tournament guidelines.
To proactively address coaching conflicts and ensure smooth communication throughout the event, all head coaches must be properly registered within their team’s GotSport account.
This requirement ensures:
- Accurate scheduling considerations
- Direct written communication from the San Juan Tournament Advisor
- Clear acknowledgment of official tournament updates
- Failing to register head coaches appropriately may impact our ability to accommodate scheduling conflicts.
Each team is permitted a maximum of six (6) guest players for the tournament.
